STC Honorary Fellow Alda Receives SAG Lifetime Achievement Award
STC Honorary Fellow Alan Alda was recently named recipient of the SAG Life Achievement Award “for career achievement and humanitarian accomplishment.”
The SAG Awards article announcing the award talks about Alda’s television, film and stage accomplishments, as well as his efforts to improve science communication through the nonprofit Alan Alda Center for Communicating Science at SUNY—Stony Brook and Alda Communications Training, the proceeds of which support the Center for Communicating Science.
